Sweeney is originally from Houston. After eventually graduating from Texas A&M University, he moved up to Chicago to pursue a career in acting. He has studied at Improv Olympic, the Second City Conservatory Program and other places.

He loves being on the road with these guys because his favorite things are road trips and college bars. Colin would like to thank all of his loved ones for their continued support especially his brother Jeff.
